A mediterranean sea breeze filled with the aroma of juicy citrus fruits, neroli and cedar wood is what you’ll experience with this beauty. It’s timeless, elegant and it smells absolutely beautiful. The bottles look gorgeous too, all of them are handmade, a tradition passed on from generation to generation for over 100 years!
This is a real jewel in my collection, a bottle I will cherish forever!
Maison Godet was my best finding during a trip to French Riviera. Don’t miss it if you happen to be around Saint-Paul-de-Vence, This is one of my favorite scents – fresh and citric but also a bit woody. It’s an elegant and absolutely brilliant fragrance. Thanks Sonia for such a beautiful creation.
If you are lucky enough to spend a little time int he south of France, the Cote d’Azur, then you should be lucky enough to experience the magical sea breeze, the divine fresh cuisine and delicious wines.
When you have an extra day, try to visit St Paul de Vence. It’s only about 1/2 hour drive from Nice. Once you settle down (pre- or post- lunch) walk up the easy cobbled street towards the top. You will find Sonia Godet’s magical kingdom of scent. It is a treasure trove of gems – literally because her custom-made bottles come in many translucent colours.
This young nose is so clever and well spoken – she is fluent in English – you’d want to spend at least 15 minutes with her, discussing the perfect perfume for you.
All her creations are eau de perfume. Meaning they are perfume strength. The industry standard for perfume, I believe, is anything above 10%. Correct me if I am wrong but I think Sonia uses 15%.
Back to this special scent – it brings St Paul de Vence into your home once you’ve left the region: neroli (orange flower) bergamot etc combine to keep your memory alive with every drop.
I have this bottle next to my bed!
Thank you so much Sang! Your words sound like music to my ears. Thank you!!! Hope you and your family are well.
Every single time I wear this perfume my husband’s reaction is that of amazement. It’s like he smells it for the first time every day. He lovingly compliments me on how great I smell for the rest of day. I can’t ever get tired of that.
Thank you Sonia for such a magical concoction ♥️
