Our candles are dedicated to being decorative pieces for your home.
If however you wish to burn your candle here are a few precautions to guarantee your safety and the life of the candle:

– Be sure to remove any parts that have fallen onto the surface of the candle or into the wax bath before lighting it.

– Light your candle only if the wick is straight.

– Place the candle on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface or on a special container when burning.

– Don’t move your candle when it’s lit, or until the melted wax has set.

– Do not burn your candle near a source of heat or ventilation.

– Do not place a burning candle on a shelf, as this could cause a fire to start.

– Stop burning the candle when 1 cm of wax remains to avoid overheating or marking the holder.

– To extinguish the candle, use a snuffer or a special lid.

– Once the wax has solidified, cut the wick to within 5mm of the wax surface.

– You can protect your candle from dust and help preserve its fragrance with a glass bell jar.

– Keep your candle in a temperate place, protected from light and humidity. Candles are sensitive to strong temperature variations, which can alter their color, material or fragrance.

All pictograms present on the various packaging of Parfums Godet candles must appear there according to the European standard EN 15494:2019.

DELIVERY TERMS

Maison Godet delivers its products worldwide. Maison Godet reserves the right to proceed with the dispatch of the order only after receipt of full payment by the Client within 24/48 h.

We work with three carriers:

• Colissimo: For shipments in mainland France, Monaco, and Andorra.
• Chronopost and FedEx: For international shipments.
• Mondial Relay: For shipments in mainland France.

Delivery costs will be calculated at the time of purchase.

Sent packages require a mandatory signature.

The Client will be informed when the package is taken over by the carrier and will receive a tracking number to follow the progress of their order in real time.

If the Client cannot take possession of their order on the scheduled delivery day, they may, in coordination with the carrier, agree on a new delivery slot.

RECEIPT OF PRODUCTS

Upon receipt of the order, the Customer must check the conformity of the items ordered. He/she is invited to contact customer service (info@parfumsgodet.com) within 14 days of receipt of the parcel, the date shown on the carrier’s receipt signed by the Customer being taken as proof.

If this 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is automatically extended to the next working day.

RETURN POLICY

To benefit from the returns policy, it is important to first contact customer service.
Products ordered must be returned in new condition, in their original, well-protected packaging. Otherwise, your request will not be processed.

REFUND

We undertake to reimburse the customer when the error is our fault.

In other cases, products are not refunded, but a credit note valid for 1 year from the date of creation will be issued.
