At 98 rue Grande, a listed building awaited a buyer. Sonia wanted to create an experiential shopping environment. This space, which had been used as stables during the middle ages, had all the right features. The spaciousness allowed her to create different realms, to the delight of the visitors who feel like they are travelling through time and jumping straight back into the post card images from a century ago. The perfume houses of the 1920s inspired the decor. Family furniture adorns the shop; some of which actually belonged to the Godet family. Other objects Sonia picked up during her travels: Stained Glass from England, mirrors and chandeliers from Italy, a fountain from Seville, an art–deco patterned marble table…

No two visits are the same in this haven where the joie de vivre reigns. Sonia Godet passionately tells stories and anecdotes of her great–grandfather, before inviting her guests to sample some cognac made by her cousins from Charente Maritime.
